A New Year...

I know most people make resolutions for New Year's, but I wanted to get an early start. Since my birthday was this past Saturday, I decided to go ahead and start making changes a week early. The past year was probably the hardest year of my life. I went through so much. Now that everything has settled, and I feel like a new woman, I wanted to share with you the things I am looking to change at age 28....

1. GET HEALTHY
I know everyone says there New Year's Resolution is to lose weight, but this goes beyond that. I would rather eat right & exercise regularly than stress about being a certain size. I want to be a healthy role model for my son. Besides, the doctor gave me specific instructions to help keep my risk of kidney stones down. So, it's time to get to work.

2. BE A BETTER WIFE & MOTHER
I don't think I'm a horrible wife/mom, I just want to start taking a little extra time for the men in my life...more date nights with hubs & more play dates with O.

3. START SCHOOL
I've decided to take a step forward in my career...beauty school, HERE I COME!!

4. STOP MAKING EXCUSES
This past year, every time things got hard, I made excuses to get out of doing things. People needed me, and I let them down. No more pity parties, it's time to put those less fortunate first.

5. BLOG MORE!!
Since I started working outside of the house, I've slacked on my blogging. This year, I'm gonna step up. I love this blog. I love those of you who take time out of your busy day to read it. THANK YOU so much to my followers. You're kind words mean more than you'll ever know.

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!! If you have any New Year Resolutions, share them with me!!
