CRAKLE POLISH

It seems like every nail polish brand came out with some sort of crakle/shatter/blasted polish this year. But the trend started with OPI. They came out with their Black Shatter for Katy Perry's line (shown above) at the beginning of the year. After that, you could find crackle polish everywhere...from high end`salons to Wal-Mart.

FEATHER HAIR EXTENSIONS

Everyone one who was anyone this past year was caught sporting one of these bad boys. I went to the ER last week with tonsillitis and the older lady who checked me in was wearing one...better late than never I suppose.

CELEBRITY FRAGRANCES

It seems like everyone who is even the tiniest bit famous came out with a fragrance this past year. For the most part they stink. Just because you're famous doesn't mean you should come out with a scent. The best smelling aroma? Surprisingly, Justin Bieber's Someday. No joke.

STICK ON STYLE

I guess companies figured we all need more time to spend on Facebook & texting, so they made our beauty routines simpiler with stick ons. Now, you can get everything from fancy eyeliner to jazzy nails to graphic lips in a matter of seconds.

I'm excited to see what 2012 brings for beauty trends!! GOOD BYE 2011!! :)
