Treat Your Feet...

With the weather getting warmer & Spring right around the corner, it's time to start getting our feet sandal ready. Here's a great way to get a great at home, do it yourself, spa treatment.

The first step is to clean off old nail polish using a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover. For smaller toenails, a Q-tips cotton swab is the perfect tool. Cut your nails straight across using toenail clippers. File, if necessary, to smooth any rough edges.

After prepping, try a foot soak or foot bath. It's a great way to relieve achy feet, soften skin, and clean any bacteria on the feet. Combined with essential oil is a fantastic way to pamper your feet. Try making this one at home:
Skin Softening Soak:
Ingredients: 1/4 fresh lemon juice, a bit of cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/4 water
Method: Mix all the ingredients and soak your feet as long as you like. This foot soak can be done twice a week for maximum effect.

Next, Apply a foot scrub. Here's a simple recipe:
Simple Salt Foot scrub:
Ingredients:1 tablespoon of sea salt, 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Method: Mix together and scrub feet and calves with small circular movements. Rinse.

Finish with a nice, thick coat of moisturizer & some polish :)

Happy Spring, ladies!!
